Mrs. Dixon's 4th Grade

Welcome to Fourth Grade! 

My name is Tara Dixon and this is my 8th year teaching at SVCS.  I spent my first 3 years teaching 5th/6th grade mathematics.  I absolutely love teaching 4th grade.

Mr. Dixon and I were married earlier this year.  We are expecting a baby in January.  During my free time I enjoy boating, swimming, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.  I have a teacup Chihuahua whose name is Bella.  I am sure I will have several Bella stories to share this year.  I look forward to meeting each and every one of my new students this year.

I received my Bachelors Degree in Childhood Education from SUNY Oswego and my Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Phoenix.  I recently completed my degree in administration through the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts.  I am proud to be a part of the SVCS family and look forward to another wonderful school year!!
