Elementary News

  • Our March COUGAR trait is ambitious. We want our cougars to continue to be ambitious in all that they do. We want them to continue to Dream BIG and set new goals to achieve. Ambition is having a strong drive for success and can be a powerful personal character trait. Ambitious people are willing to take risks and expose themselves to new ways of thinking. They are also curious, eager to learn, and excited about the possibilities before them. Talk to your children about being ambitious by setting goals and striving to achieve them.

Kindergarten registration is being held in the elementary office March 2nd – 6th from 9:00 am – 1:00 pm everyday. If your child currently attends pre-k at Stockbridge Valley, you DO still need to register for kindergarten.

As we begin the second half of our school year, I want to remind you of a couple items.

As the temperature continues to fall, it is important for our students to be dressed and prepared for the weather.  Please be sure that your child comes to school in boots, warm coats, hats, gloves and snow pants when needed.  Many of our classes are going outside on a regular basis and it is important that our children are prepared for some Winter fun!

In case of a school closing, delay or emergency, you should all be receiving alerts through our school messenger system via phone call.  You can also tune into to any local news and weather station for updates.

As always, please feel free to contact us with any questions or concerns 315-495-4550.

Think good thoughts for an early spring!
