The ACT

The ACT is just as important as the SAT and students should begin taking the ACT during their Junior Year.  We recommend students take both if possible, most colleges will accept both scores.  Be sure to check with individual colleges of interest to see if they want a specific test (either ACT or SAT).  It is important to have at least one of the tests.

As with the SAT, the easiest way to register for the ACT is online at http://www.act.org

Registering online gives you the benefit of having access to your scores, just like the SAT.  However, if you are unable to register online, you may also pick up a paper registration booklet in the Counseling Office.
