    Today in history.... Dan Jansen skates world-record 500 meters

    On January 30, 1994, the American speed skater Dan Jansen sets a new world record of 35.76 at the World Sprint Championships in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

    High School Announcements 

    Today is Day 1

    Attention Seniors, it's time to fill out your Senior section for the yearbook! Please fill out the form in your Google Classroom ASAP! Senior section responses, senior photos and baby photos are all due no later than February 10th! Please see Ms. Jones or Mrs. Ellerbruch with any questions

    There will be a meeting of the Newspaper Club on Thursday, 2/2/23 in the Maroon Room at 2:40. Please plan on attending as we will be discussing the Talent Show, our upcoming Krispy Kreme fundraiser and content for our February edition.

    There will be a Junior class meeting after-school on Thursday, February 2nd in Mrs. Laraby’s room. All juniors are encouraged to attend

    We have been given a great opportunity to host Author and Professor Julie Smith. Her presentation for grades 9-12 has been scheduled for Wednesday, February 1 during the first period in the Auditorium.


    Sports News: 

    • Girls Modified Basketball plays at Madison at 4:00pm today

    • Girls JV/V Volleyball teams are playing Home against Morrisville Eaton tonight at 5:30 and 7pm.

    • The boys varsity basketball team pushed its winning streak to 5 Friday night beating McGraw 56-49. Nick Hofmiester led all scorers with 19. Nick along with Evan Enslow both played great defense locking down McGraw's big scorers. Charlie Cross just missed his second straight double scoring 10 points and pulling down 8 rebounds. The boys travel to Madison Tuesday night to try and avenge an early season loss. Please come support the team Tuesday night in Madison!
