It's that time of year again! It's hard to believe but we are starting preparations for our incoming kindergarten students. If your child will be five years old on or before December 1, 2023, they are eligible to register for kindergarten.

The entire packet is also available below. You can print this out and return it to the school via mail to Stockbridge Valley Central School Attn: Natalie Relyea PO Box 732 Munnsville, NY 13409, or fax attn: Natalie Relyea 315.495.1901 or email to nrelyea@stockbridgevalley.org.  You can also drop your completed packet and additional information off at the school. Place all of your documents in an envelope and drop them off on the table in the elementary tunnel. Be sure the envelope is labeled "Elementary Office".

If your child attended the Pre-K program, they must still register for kindergarten.

Registration is required before a student can begin school.  It is not necessary for the child to be present at the time of registration.

The following additional documentation is required for registration: child's birth certificate, official immunization record, proof of residency, and pertinent legal papers. 

Acceptable documentation for proof of residency includes: copy of tax bill, lease agreement, copy of utility bill. General mail is not necessarily proof of residency. It must be mail that indicates your physical address and it must be for an actual service at the residence, such as electricity, water, cable, telephone, etc.
