About Mrs. Kramer

Hi! My name is Mrs. Kramer. I am excited to be teaching Kindergarten at Stockbridge this year.  Kindergarten is one of favorite grades to teach becasue the kids grow so much!  The students come into kindergarten knowing very little and leave being ready for first grade reading and listening and ready to learn more. Children in kindergarten will change before your very eyes! It is awesome to teach kindergarten.

I have been teaching around the world for just about 20 years. My husband is in the military so we have lived in a lot of different places including Germany! Before I married my husband, I attended Montana State University in Bozeman, Montana where I earned my BA in Elementary Education.  After getting married and moving to three different states, I attended the Univserity of Phoenix and earned my MA in Diverse Learner, which focuses on helping the struggling students and the gifted studetns. Currently, New York is the 8th state I have taught in.

I live in Clinton with my husband, three children, my dog and hamster.  My husband still works for the Air Force up in Rome, NY and my three wonderful children are Gloria,16, who is a junior in school, Eli, 13, who is an eighth grader and Liam, 9, who is thrid grade at CCS.  Our family dog is an English Springer Spaniel whose name is Emma. Emma is 5 years old and loves everyone she meets. If she had her way, she'd jump right up into your arms and let you carry her around. We also have my favorite pet, the hamster. His name is Mr. Biggs. He doesn't do much except run in circles on his wheel and eats sunflower seeds, but I love to watch him and hold him. Some of the things I enjoy doing are reading, listening to audiobooks, sewing, coloring and drawing. I also love to cut the grass and vacuum!  I love coffee, hot or cold and love to eat salads and chocolate! I also hate being hot! Fall, Winter and Spring are my favorite time of the year!

I look forward to getting to know everyone of my students and their families. Our classroom door is alway open for a visit!
