My name is Mrs. Peto.  I am so excited to have your child in my Kindergarten class!  Kindergarten is such an awesome year... you will see your child grow academically each and every day!  You will be so proud and amazed by their progress throughout the year.  I will use this website to keep you informed and involved in what we are doing in class, as well as upcoming events.

This year will be my 16th year teaching at Stockbridge Valley Central School! Over the past 15 years I have taught kindergarten and 2nd Grade.  Prior to working at SVCS, I attended Russell Sage College in Troy, NY, where I obtained a B.A. in psychology.  I then completed my teaching certification and earned a Master's Degree at Canisius College in Buffalo, NY.  I also taught 6th grade for one year at a middle school in Winnetka, IL.  

My husband, Mr. Peto, is a 3rd grade teacher here at SVCS.  We live in Clinton with our three wonderful kids... Olivia (4th grade), Emma (2nd grade), and Nate (pre-K).  We also have a Boston Terrier named Molly.  She is 11 years old, but still acts like a puppy!  Some of the things I enjoy to do are spending time with my family, running, and getting together with friends.  With three kids and teaching Kindergarten I don't have time for much more. Both my grandmas live in Clinton, so I spend a lot of time with them too.  I also love chocolate, doing puzzles, taking my kids to the pool, baking cakes/cupcakes, and working in my yard.  Some things I do NOT like include snakes, cooking, and cold weather!
