Message from the Superintendent

Dear Families & Community Members,

Welcome back! I hope you all had a restful and rejuvenating summer vacation. As we prepare for the 2024-25 school year, I am excited and optimistic about the incredible journey ahead.

We remain dedicated to our mission of creating a “Culture of Excellence: Empower ALL students through exemplary educational experiences to safely learn and grow”.  We have an experienced team of educators and staff who make a difference in the lives of our children every day.  Our school community continues to stand strong and resilient, undeterred by the many challenges we have faced in the past few years.  Despite these obstacles, I believe we have emerged stronger and more resilient than ever.

We are now well-positioned to do what we do best, supporting our children and educating them for the future. This year, I challenge everyone to get involved in our school community, because together we make a difference. Making a difference is not accomplished through grand events or gestures, but by doing the small things every day. Let's continue to strive for a high standard of excellence while also providing the support and belief necessary for our students to reach these expectations. Together, we will create an environment where every child can thrive and achieve their fullest potential.

We continue to be focused, aligned and intentional in our work. In July, we conducted our annual strategic planning update meeting.  This meeting included stakeholders from a variety of groups including parents, community members, the BOE, teachers, staff, and school administrators.  This process is designed to be our compass and guide our district into the future.  We are very excited to share the results of our collaborative efforts that will undoubtedly help us continue to grow and improve as we strive for excellence in all that we do.

This year our team set the following priority areas:

  1. Student Experience
  2. Staff Experience
  3. Community Experience
  4. Facilities Maintenance/Planning for the Future

Quarterly updates will be provided towards the progress we have made.  If you are interested in participating in next year's “Blueprint for Success” strategic planning meeting, please contact our District Office.

Thank you for entrusting us with the education and well-being of your children. I am truly honored to serve as your Superintendent and look forward to witnessing the accomplishments that we will achieve together.

Wishing you all a wonderful and fulfilling school year!
