• Message from the 7-12 Principal

It is with great enthusiasm that I introduce myself to you at the High School Principal of Stockbridge Valley Central School District (SVCS). It is an honor to be joining the SVCS team. I bring to you over 12 years of educational experience, including reading intervention K-12, 5th-grade teacher, and Response to Intervention (RtI) Coordinator. My most recent administration experience was Technology Coordinator for both Stockbridge Valley and Owen D Young CSD from January of 2019.

For the past year, I have had the pleasure of working with faculty, staff, and students at Stockbridge Valley. I will continue to build on those relationships while focusing on a culture of safety, respect, and hope for all, as well as fostering a learning environment that is engaging and rigorous. Not only do I look forward to working with your children, but I look forward to the work we will do together. I believe in a team approach when working with students and look forward to sharing their success with you as well as helping them through any difficult times.

Again, I am truly honored to be given this opportunity and look forward to immersing myself completely in our school and in our community. I believe my main responsibility is to put our teachers in the best possible position to succeed, as they will, in turn, put our children in the best possible position to succeed. I look forward to meeting all of you and please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions, concerns, or ideas you would like to share.

    Warmest Regards,

    Andrea Stabak

    7-12 Principal
