The Lady Cougars were on the road for the first time this season as they took on the Cincinnatus Lady Lions. Kelly Greene was tasked with taming the Lady Lion hitters, and tame them she did. She went 5 flawless innings striking out 11 and not allowing a single batter to reach first base throwing a perfect game. On the offensive end, the Lady Cougars put up 20 runs, Rachel Mennig opened the flood gates early going 2 for 3 on the day with a base clearing double in the first inning. Kelly Greene also helped her own cause going 5 for 5. Markalynn Eaton added a double and Abby Reed belted a triple to help pace the potent Lady Cougar offense which belted 15 hits and drew 12 walks in the victory. -
