"Madison County has created a Mental Health Task Force to assess the needs of the community related to mental health. As we all begin to move into the recovery phase after the COVID pandemic, we realize that the recovery and well-being of our community is going to take several years. With new opportunities for federal funding, the county has decided that it is important to figure out what exactly our community needs to recover. We have started working on this project to assess the needs, and as part of that we really want to hear from all the schools about the concerns they might have. Our hope is that we will be able to identify some short term, mid range, and long term goals for programs and services that are needed to heal the community," Teisha Cook, Director of Mental Health at Madison County.
