Physics Students Nail Rube Goldberg Challenge

Congratulations to the Physics students in Ms. O’Mara’s class on successfully getting their Rube Goldberg machine to work! The students were tasked with creating a machine to complete a simple task, and after two weeks of constant work, they chose to blow up (and pop) a balloon. Despite the potential for errors, the successful run was captured on tape. “This marks my first year of catching a full run without any outside help being recorded. Feel free to check out the attached video for a glimpse of their hard work and the mess it created in my classroom before it disappears. Enjoy the viewing pleasure and the proof that it really does work!” said O’Mara.
